Research Specialty and Interests:
Our laboratory focuses on studying the magnetoelectric properties metal oxides including bulk and nanoscale oxides and the new developed multiferroic thin films. Part of our projects has been directed to the industrious applications.

The recent research topics include:
(A). Magnetoelectric Materials: Synthesis and develop multifunctional magnetoelectric materials and study the coupling between electric properties and magnetism.
(B). Nanoceramic Materials: Study the size effect on the physical properties (magnetic, ferroelectric, and dielectric properties) of ceramic oxides.
